Prince Louis, the youngest son of Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, just celebrated his first turn around the sun on April 23, reported People, and the little 1-year-old is beginning to show us all his personality.

The little Prince joined his family at the Queen’s birthday celebrations of “Trooping the Colour” last Saturday. Louis celebrated his great grandmother’s 93rd birthday along with the rest of the country, although she was technically born in April (like Louis!). Find out why Queen Elizabeth II has two birthdays here.

For the day, traditionally the immediate Royal Family makes an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace to enjoy a Royal Air Force fly-past once the parades and military ceremonies have finished, according to the official Royal Family website. That’s when the public got to see little Louis address the crowds for the very first time.

He was enthusiastic and looked incredibly excited to be there. He had an adorable wave for the air force planes, while he pointed and mouthed “Wow,” while being held by his mother Kate Middleton. It is his first “Trooping the Colour” and he seems like such a natural already.

Eagle-eyed royal watchers noticed that Prince Louis wore an outfit from his uncle Harry for the occasion. The day also marked Meghan Markle’s return to the public eye after giving birth to her son Archie a month ago.
