Known for the hit TV show, 'Dog the Bounty Hunter,' Duane Chapman has built an entire franchise for both himself and his family through bounty hunting. Along with his wife, Beth Chapman who has since passed away, Dog was able to catch many criminals that were out on bail and receive money for it.

With a wide viewership, the show took place mainly in Hawaii or Dog's home state of Colorado and provided a mix of everything: thrill, action, romance, and conflict. The series ran for eight seasons in total until it was canceled. The power couple then received their own spin-off, 'Dog and Beth: On the Hunt.' However, the passing of Beth Chapman affected the reality star and his family deeply.

Duane "Dog" Chapman and his fiancée Francie Frane have opened up more about their relationship as the 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' star and his new partner prepare for their wedding.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on Monday, September 14th, Frane and Chapman revealed how Frane's loss of late husband Bob to cancer just six months before Dog would lose his late wife Beth Chapman to the same disease in June of 2019 brought them closer.

According to The Sun, Duane said he and Frane have bonded over their shared grief of losing a spouse to cancer. Francie's late husband Bob died just months before Beth lost her battle with throat cancer last June. The pair got together after Dog left a voicemail for Bob asking him to do some work on his property, without knowing he had passed away. Francie called Dog back to explain what happened to Bob and they became friends, then started dating.

As they got talking they realized they were both grieving their spouses. Francie's husband, Bob, had passed away six months before Beth.

Speaking about their spouses Francie revealed:

"We're both still grieving. We're never going to leave Bob and Beth behind or forget about them. They'll always be a part of us."

They also plan to annually commemorate the dates their respective spouses passed away on by doing something meaningful as a way to remember them.

To add to how perfect the match is, Duane told ET that Francie is a former rancher and hunter, so there "couldn't have been a better pick that God picked" for him. Duane knew it was meant to be and proposed when it felt right.

"We understood the pain that the other one was feeling and [in] those tough days and moments, we helped each other stand up. We could cry with each other and talk about what we were feeling. We were able to walk alongside each other through the pain and heartbreak and it brought us together in this amazing way."

Now, Chapman has recently taken to Instagram to wish his new love a happy birthday, as well as declare his love for her once more. The photo featured Frane on the floor with a few books. The caption read:

"Happy Birthday Francie I Love You !!!!"

The television personality confirmed his engagement to Frane via Instagram on back in May. A rep told People that "they're very happy and looking forward to a long life together." a rep for Duane tells. According to The Sunhe had popped the question during a romantic candlelit proposal at their home in Colorado. Dog revealed to ET that he was "haunted" by Beth for "a bit," but knows that she guided him to Frane to prevent him from "dying of a broken heart."

Frane, who's a mother of two sons, added: "We thought we were going to spend the rest of our lives with them and that's not what happened and we were dealt a really hard hand." It is always unimaginably hard to lose a partner, but we are happy for Dog and his new fiancee, and wish them a very happy life ahead.
