Bruidegom onderbreekt de huwelijksgeloften om aan te kondigen dat hij ook van een ander meisje houdt

Tegen het einde van een huwelijksceremonie vraagt de priester meestal aan de getuigen of ze enige redenen hebben waarom het paar niet zou moeten trouwen, en of ze nu dan graag willen spreken of het voor altijd voor zich willen houden. Meestal geeft niemand hier antwoord op, tenzij het een trouwerij uit een film is, wat vaak gaat over een bruid en bruidegom die plotseling toch niet voor elkaar bestemd zijn. 

Maar in deze video over een bruiloft in Portugal onderbreekt de bruidegom op zijn eigen bruiloft.
 

The beautiful couple, Jessica and Jefferson, stood at the alter surrounded by their family and loved ones, and Jefferson began a speech he had prepared for the occasion. He explained that although he loved his soon-to-be wife very much, there was another girl who had also captured his heart, and she was in that very room. 

And with tears in his eyes, Jefferson faced the girl he loved.

The audience was shocked - until Jefferson turned around to eight-year-old Giovanna.

Jessica had a daughter from a previous relationship, so she was overwhelmed with surprise when Jefferson suddenly knelt in front of her. Anyone who has grown up in a family blended with children from different relationships and multiple moms and dads knows that it can be difficult to develop a close relationship with someone who isn't directly related to you. But Jefferson wanted to make sure there was no doubt in Giovanna's mind that Jefferson wanted to be a good father to her.

Met iedereen erbij beloofde Jefferson dat hij niet alleen van Jessica zal houden, maar ook van Giovanna.
