Even if we are more likely to pay attention to a person's gaze or facial expression when meeting them for the first time, most scientists go one step further. Different studies have actually been done on how eye color and character traits are related.

People with blue eyes are considered bright, cheerful and intelligent. They are attractive, sincere, independent and do not want routine. Such people can show both positive and negative feelings.

This means that they may be moody and resentful, but also helpful and very nice. Their best qualities are their endurance and inner strength. As a child, they were more cautious and reserved, while later they become more extroverted. However, they are also said to be a little selfish.

It's not that easy to characterize gray-eyed people. But they are rather extreme characters. Therefore, people with dark grey eyes are very balanced or extremely erratic. People with light grey eyes have to struggle to be taken seriously and are often regarded as reserved. They are quiet and rather adapted types.

If one reveals one's own feelings to them, astonishment at their uncertainty follows. However, love is taken very seriously by the grey-eyed. They are considered passionate and romantic but in a calm and gentle way. Sometimes they are particularly stubborn and calculating.

Since they occur rather rarely, green eyes fascinate and are seen by many people as very beautiful and exotic. As a green-eyed person, you are very seductive, sexy and somewhat mysterious. In addition, these people combine supposedly contradictory characteristics: They are mild and at the same time dominant, strong and cautious, unpredictable, but also very patient.

Because of these contrasting qualities, it is difficult to assess them. They are considered to be on the shy side emotionally and want to find serious, long relationships in life. They are said to be independent, creative, curious and intelligent. In addition, they are described as happy and cheerful people, which sounds almost perfect. However, they are often jealous.

On Earth, most people have brown eyes. Brown-eyed people have numerous positive traits. They are independent, reliable, optimistic, attractive and creative. Although they are considered individualists, the people they trust regard them as loyal, sociable and caring.

At the same time they also show their shy, rather serious side. Furthermore, they are independent, practical, self-confident and assertive. According to some studies, people with brown eyes have a hard time getting out of bed in the morning because they often rest poorly but still manage with less sleep. They can, however, be a little moody.

It depends on how dark or light the brown in question is, as this has a great influence on someone's personality. In general, people with hazel eyes are spontaneous, independent and self-confident. They are wildly determined to take risks and considered to be active and adventurous.

People with hazel eyes show a great, infectious joy of life. These adventurers are also responsible, profound people who know and accept their limits. However, they are considered difficult to understand and somewhat selfish.

People who have almost black, especially dark eyes do not exist very often. They are intelligent, dynamic and full of life. Unfortunately, they don't always have themselves well under control. They can decide to take things head on sometimes. This leads to them being considered direct and impulsive. However, this gives them the necessary respect from everybody around them.

It is hardly surprising that they are often leaders and adventurers and have a mysterious, dignified aura. However, every now and then they tend to be a little grouchy and can seem arrogant.
