Young Twin Girls Who Were Separated At Birth Have A Heartfelt Reunion On Live TV

It was a reunion like no other when two separated twin girls were brought together for the first time since they were infants. What makes this tale even more hard to believe is that neither girl knew that they had a twin sister.

It all started when a mom from Wisconsin named Jennifer Doering started looking into her adopted daughter's family history. She wanted to give her 10-year-old daughter, Audrey, a Christmas gift with details about her family in China.

Jennifer found a picture that completely changed the trajectory of her search. In the picture, a little baby girl that looked exactly like Audrey was seated next to the girl. The curious mom tracked down Audrey's twin, Gracie Rainsberry, through the help of social media. Living in Washington, the Rainsberry family also had no idea that their little girl had a twin. Medical tests were able to confirm that the girls were indeed identical twins. They even shared the same heart condition as infants, reports Yahoo! News.

Both families connected and talked on the phone and video chat but had never met each other in person until it happened live on the ABC television morning show GMA. With the help of psychologist Dr. Nancy Segal, the twins and their families have been able to deal with this transition. Although they still live miles apart, the two girls now talk regularly, according to Time.

This reunion will leave you in tears. You need to see their faces when they first meet and when GMA presents the pair with Broadway show tickets and vouchers for travel so that they can continue to spend time with each other. After you have watched this touching reunion, be sure to spread the love to everyone else in your social network.
