Young Toy Poodle Breaks Cute-O-Meter While Being Groomed

Who doesn't love toy poodles? They're fluffy, cuddly, and just waiting to be picked up and snuggled. Toy poodles are among some of the sweetest and most lovable dog breeds. They're smart and athletic, and it seems like they're always up for a game of fetch in the backyard. But sometimes they get a little too wild, and they come back covered in mud with their fur knotted and tangled! When this little toy poodle went to the dog groomer in Japan, someone took a video — and it's sure to melt your heart. 

Time for a bath! This pup is so tiny, he practically disappears in the foam. The groomer starts by scrubbing his fur with shampoo, then gently rinses him off with cool water. He gets a bucket all to himself — isn't that adorable? Look at how lovingly he looks at the groomer as if he's trying to thank her for cleaning him.

What a mess! His fur is so wet, it looks like he's been playing outside in the rain! Good thing he won't have that wet dog smell. He might look funny now, but don't worry— the groomer's going to dry him off and get him looking sharp and handsome.

The groomer holds him in front of a blow dryer that gently dries his fur while she brushes out the tangles and knots. Now he's getting dry and clean and ready for the rest of his grooming session! He probably feels much better after getting all that dirt and gunk out of his fur. Who knows what this little guy has been getting into?

That air must be warm and comfortable because he tries to snuggle in the groomer's lap. He could probably fall asleep there if she'd let him. Snuggling with puppies all day —that sounds like a dream job to us!

Yes, dogs get haircuts, too! In this case, this tiny poodle had some fur that was beginning to grow over his eyes. The groomer snips away the excess fur so it doesn't obstruct his vision. We want this little guy to be able to run around and play as much as he wants!

His whiskers are getting long, too, so let's give that a trim as well. In fact, let's go ahead and trim his entire body while we're at it! If a poodle's fur gets too long, it starts to get matted and tangled, especially if they spend a lot of time running around playing outside. Thankfully, she's going to get him neat and trimmed and ready for his close-up.
