A young elephant at an Elephant Nature Park in likes to run up and greet a man who drives by on a tractor

According to the video, a fellow named Darrick drives a tractor, but not at a farm. He works at the Elephant Nature Park, and he routinely passes several elephants.

The creatures don't always pay much mind to the tractor, but there is one young elephant that seems to enjoy Darrick's company. Kham La, a name that means "Darling," loves to come up and say hello to Darrick. Kham La and her mom are two lucky elephants. They are two rescued elephants who now live in the safe environment of the Elephant Nature Park.

When Kham La sees Darrick on his tractor, she immediately runs to him. An elephant herd follows the little one's lead, but they don't react the same way Kham La does upon reaching the tractor.

Kham La bellows out greetings to Darrick, who acknowledges her presence by petting her. Kham La seems to show genuine affection for her human friend, and Darrick returns the sentiment right back.

Anyone who doubts the interactions occur only has to look at the proof. A fantastic video exists, and it features Darrick and Kham La greeting one another.

The friendly interactions between Kham La and Darrick could cheer up pretty much anyone's day. Why not help spread the story and give people hope about how humans and animals get along?

Does Kham La show such friendship and love because she realizes the people at the Elephant Nature Park helped save her? No one knows for sure, but everyone probably feels good after seeing the kind interactions between the two friends.
