You Were Too Busy For Her, And That’s The Reason She Left You
Jan 22, 2019 by apost team
It probably seems like it happened all at once. What really happened is you weren’t paying attention. You grew accustomed to her love and care. You took all the little things she did for you for granted. There was once a day when you threw a “thank you” her way but those days are long gone.
You long ago stopped noticing her new makeup and hair-dos. You never tossed a compliment her way or even noticed her in the room. She had no idea if you smelled her perfume and appreciated her coiffed hair. She tried to do things you liked and show you tender affection. Her every waking hour was spent trying to please you and forge ahead in a strong and healthy relationship. After a while, she stopped trying.
After all, absence makes the heart grow fonder. Perhaps without her affection, you might realize what a hole it left in your life. Sadly, you were so wrapped in your own life you barely noticed her departure. Even when it was obvious, you ignored the situation, sure she’d be back. Now, you are alone.

You missed your last chance to see what she really meant in your life. You let all her signs and signals of unhappiness slip past you. One small slip of emotion would have been enough to keep her trying. One smile. One brush of her hand. One tiny gesture would have kept her in your life. Unfortunately, none of that mattered to you until it was too late.
You ignored her very existence until the strong woman you met withered to barely a shell of what she was. You would be surprised if you knew the amount of effort and fight that she put into your relationship, only for you to toss it away like a used towel. You never gave her the appreciation she deserved for the loyalty and trust she put into your relationship.
You had feelings for you. On some subconscious level, you knew she was having a profound effect on your life. You recognize that she is the best thing that has ever happened to you and yet, your let her efforts go unnoticed. Unrecognized. Unrewarded. Although you felt the love she had for you and appreciated what was growing between you, you failed to give her the adoration she served and craved. For that, you lost her.

You allowed her into your life, only to let her slip away because you could not step up to the plate. She showed you her willingness and ability to love you in exactly the manner you needed to be loved. She was willing to stand by your side as you pursued your life dreams and fight any enemy to stand in your way. It was her sole desire to face life’s greatest ups and most devastating downs while holding your hand. The only thing stopping her was you. You did not do your part.
You were unable to give her the time and effort it took to let her know you were worth her time. She needed a clear sign that you wanted the same things she did in the relationship, and you were both working toward the same goal, but you were unable to give her that. You never gave her the confidence in your love that she needed.
There was so much more important to you than the love of that woman while you had it. You were more concerned with your pastimes, friends, and career. She seemed to be there forever, no effort required on your part. Only now do you see your mistakes and how easy it could have been to keep her in your life. You simply needed to show a small amount of appreciation and let her know you notice the things she did for you and the love she expressed every day.

You rarely if ever showed affection and now you are paying the price. She has moved on, despite how much she loved you. She held on for as long as she could, but your cold heart finally pushed her away. You never gave her anything to hang on to no matter how hard she tried.
There are no more chances to be had. No more tries. N more time. She is gone and you will never have another chance at what she offered you. She has moved on with her life and committing herself to a new future. You are in her rearview mirror and she isn’t looking back.
We have all made mistakes like these. Don't be afraid to talk about your experiences. Pass this along to someone who needs to read it.
