You Can Do These 6 Easy Exercises Without Even Getting Out Of Bed

Is anyone really a morning person? You can enjoy getting a great workout without even leaving the comfort of your cozy bed. Here are six exercises you can do without getting up.

You don’t have to dedicate hours out of your busy week adopting a new workout routine. A healthy lifestyle starts with creating healthier habits, but taking a small step to do an easy workout every morning will help motivate you to take the next steps forward.

Getting a good stretch can really lighten your mood and prepare you for the rest of your day.

Stay in bed a few extra minutes. Take a load off and relax. You can get in that exercise your doctor prescribed without breaking a sweat. Just grab a towel, and roll it tightly. That’s going to act as your ultimate exercise cushion.

The Ice Cream Cone

Take your rolled-up towel. Place it directly under your shoulder blades. Stretch your body out straight. Your arms need to be stretched as far out as possible behind your head. Imagine your favorite ice cream. You’ve got it in your hand on a hot summer day. It’s melting away.

That’s what you need to do. Just melt away into your bed. Put a big grin on your face. Smile as big as you can to get a jolt of positive emotions into your dull morning. Take a Few minutes to really feel all of your troubles melting away.

The Clean Up

You’ve experienced all that melted ice cream, and it’s time to wash yourself up. All of the rest of your exercises will require you to place your rolled-up towel at the back of your neck.

Rub your hands together to generate some heat. Imagine you are lathering up the finest soaps with the best smelling fragrances you’ve ever experienced. Rub out all the kinks in your face. Imagine all of that sticky mess being replaced by the most velvety lotions. Pay close attention to your forehead.

Wipe It Up

Put your arms straight up towards the ceiling. Stretch them as high as you can. Rub all the way down each arm from your fingers to your shoulders. You want to wipe off all that negativity in your life. Just let it all go. Pretend your hands are wringing out all the stress from your arms like a wet sponge.

And Wipe It Down

This is the same as the previous exercise, but you are rubbing your legs. Stretch them straight up, then bend them one at a time. Wring out all your anxieties. Doesn’t that feel good?

The Floating Stretch

Imagine you are on a slow river just floating downstream. All of that silky soapy lotion is washing off into the water.

Lay comfortably and relax. Allow your lower back to stretch comfortably in place. Think of this as your daily break from the world. Focus on everything that you have to look forward to today.

Give yourself a big pat on the back. Take a moment to let out a big yawn if you need to. Just let your body naturally stretch and move.

Muddy Toes

Firmly grasp each foot. Massage them vigorously. Make a fist with your hand while applying pressure to the center of your sole. Imagine that your feet are covered in soft clay from walking out of the riverbed. You are working out all the knots.

The Alligator

You noticed how dirty you were after leaving the river. Now you feel like an alligator.

Point your knees toward the sky. Stretch your arms to either side as far as you can reach. Look to the left while moving your knees to the right. Look to the right while moving your knees to the left.

You have now officially finished the world’s easiest bed-side exercise.
