Women Are Throwing Out Hair Dye For Their Natural Gray Hair In The Coolest Power Move

Although we like to deny it sometimes, it’s a fact that people care a lot about their appearances. Although both genders have maintenance routines that they follow in order to look their best, it’s about time for women to feel liberated with their own personal appearances, especially since men are often not held to the same high standards.

Whether it be getting their nails done, plucking their eyebrows, wearing makeup on a daily basis, or keeping up with their dyed hair colors, women especially spend a lot of time on maintenance of their outward looks.

Even though it has long been preached that it’s what’s on the inside that counts, people still care about what they look like. It’s been ingrained into women’s heads from a young age that they need to upkeep their appearance to remain girly and attractive to others. But what if we begin challenging that standard?

One aspect of appearances that women often care most about is the quality and color of their hair. On any given week, you’ll most likely catch women putting in their hair extensions, using conditioning hair products, and spending a lot of money getting their color touched up.

Many women have a large chunk of their budget that they dedicate to maintaining their hair in order to look their best. Not only does it take a lot of money to maintain hair that others will think looks amazing, but it takes a lot of time as well.

Hair appointments can take hours out of someone’s day, and using hair masks and styling the hair can be a lengthy process itself. But what if women don’t have to spend a lot of money or time to look fabulous?

In recent years, there has been a wave of women embracing their more natural side. Some women have stopped shaving, others have stopped plucking their eyebrows, and many others have decided to go bare-faced in the name of liberation. It seems as though the natural movement comes at the perfect time where other women decide to undergo expensive and risky surgeries in order to perfect their faces and bodies.

However, more women than ever are deciding to ditch one product in particular: hair dye!

Instead of fretting about the graying hairs that pop into their heads, they’re deciding to embrace them. Women have decided that it’s time for society to change how it views their gray hairs.

Graying hair is natural, beautiful and can be liberating to rock on the top of your head. If you’re looking to jumpstart your journey to self-love, allowing your gray hairs to be free could be a great start.
