Woman Trapped Next To Rude Man On Plane Until Deep Voice Says 'We Are Switching Seats. Now.'

Savannah Phillips, 32-year-old mom of two and seasoned traveler, has always been hyper-conscious of her weight when flying. She knows she's not tiny but she also isn't huge, but it's her worst nightmare to make someone on a flight uncomfortable in their own seat due to her size. Because of this, she always tries to sit next to an empty seat.

Savannah was waiting on her flight to Chicago when it was delayed due to bad weather, so she was thrust on a new plane in which she couldn't pick her seat. She boarded the plane and sat next to an elderly man who told her he was a comedian. He seemed polite but as the safety brief began, Savannah noticed him texting on his huge phone about how frustrated he was having to sit next to a "smelly fatty."

After seeing these words, Savannah was crushed. She knew she still had to lose the baby weight and she felt like she had negative thoughts about her own body, but this man was still unnecessarily mean. She turned towards the window and began to silently sob.

All of a sudden, someone approached her seatmate and sternly informed him that they will be switching seats.

The stranger told the rude man that his behavior was inappropriate and sent him to another seat. When Savannah asked him why he switched places, he told her that he saw the terrible things the man was typing. Savannah was so grateful to her rescuer. They got free drinks and they spent the flight talking about family, jobs, and hobbies.

After the enjoyable flight, Savannah shared her story on Facebook where it went viral. The story spread to news outlets who managed to find the man, Chase from Nashville, Tennessee.

Savannah then got the opportunity to properly thank Chase on video, which you can watch below:

Such a nice guy! This shows that even though there is evil in this world, the good will always overcome. If you enjoyed this story, please show it to your friends and family!
