After over 30 years of sitting vacant, this property held on to a lot of history and secrets. Time and history awaited to be uncovered. A grandmother left her granddaughter her home, wanting to leave a piece of herself and a part of their family's history. The granddaughter did not step foot in to the home until over thirty years later. Look at what she found and how she transformed the house in to an updated piece of history.

The home, located in Idaho, had not been renovated and had been left to sit. There wasn't much hope in saving the house, but the granddaughter was determined.

The house is not that large, but still would cost a lot to renovate in order to preserve the history. The granddaughter began with the first stage of restoration.

Overall the general condition of the house was good and in a condition that could be worked with.

A wall, destroyed by moisture, had to be rebuilt. After some time the house was transformed. It is hard to believe this is the same place that was build in 1970!

The new addition, a tiny kitten, also now calls the renovated place, home. The kitchen is now functional. The living room is ready for a good nap, and the bedroom is comfy. The window in the living room has the best view - and the kitten agrees.
