Woman Tired Of Shaving Embraces Full Beard And Grooms It To Make It Shiny

A woman is changing the game and saying goodbye to society’s stereotypical standards for women. While most people don’t associate body hair with women, a 37-year-old social media star by the username Peekaboo Pumpkin has been proving that that doesn’t need to be the case. Tired of having to shave, this woman decided to embrace her natural beauty and is growing out a full beard, and even straightens it to keep it extra gorgeous and shiny.

Peekaboo Pumpkin has grown a nice fan following on TikTok and Instagram from sharing videos of her facial hair that grows out of her chin as a result of a hormonal condition known as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She has been sharing her appearance and her story in the hopes of inspiring others to love their bodies exactly as they are while also spreading awareness about PCOS.

According to Mayo Clinic, PCOS is a hormonal disorder that is most common among women of reproductive age. This can result in infrequent or prolonged periods, or excess male hormone levels. Another side effect is the possibility of an increase in male-pattern hair growth.

Peekaboo Pumpkins now has a full beard growing out of her chin and has shown her followers just how much she accepts it. In November 2021, she shared a video on TikTok showing how she has completely embraced her beard. Sharing Her Story

According to The Sun, Peekaboo Pumpkin regularly shares videos highlighting her beard on various social media accounts, such as Instagram and TikTok. She has also continued to show how she takes care of her facial hair while spreading awareness about PCOS. 

The hormonal condition can cause male-pattern hair growth, similarly to how the social media influencer’s beard. Rather than continuously having to shave the extra hair off, Peekaboo Pumpkin has learned to embrace her features and refuses to get rid of her beard. 

In November 2021, she shared a TikTok showing some of the ways she takes care of her facial hair, such as straightening it to help make it look extra nice and shiny. Peekaboo Pumpkin had a smile on her face the entire time she tended to her beard. “When you are a female with facial hair you learn to love yourself differently,” she wrote in the comments.

According to The Sun, the TikTok star has shown other videos of her grooming routine for her facial hair, which involves brushing, straightening and sometimes plaiting her beard. She also uses products to make sure her beard looks as beautiful as possible.

Many people have left the woman positive comments, encouraging her to keep inspiring others and thanking her for highlighting body positivity. One person said, “You’re awesome and beautiful.” Another commented, “I admire your courage and attitude.” A third person added, “Wish I could be as confident as you!” 

Others even gave Peekaboo Pumpkin some suggestions on different ways to style her beard in the future. One person commented, “You should curl it in two pieces!” We can only wait to see what styles she tries next!
