Woman Tells Boyfriend Either The Dog Goes Or She Does - Man Knows Exactly What He Has To Do

Relationships can bring out the best in us. With someone else’s affection, we suddenly stand up a little straighter and believe in ourselves a little more. Of course, relationships take work too, and they can sometimes involve sacrifices. For one man though, the sacrifice his girlfriend asked him to make was too much.

Sometimes that sacrifice can be living conditions. For example, living with a dog can require some adjustments. They don’t always get up at the same time you do. They are also pretty noisy: barking when they want to be let in, barking when they want to be let out, and sometimes just barking for the sake of barking. But once you bond with a dog, many people will say that they become their best friend. It’s a connection that can’t be broken.

So, when this man was given an ultimatum by his girlfriend – the dog or her – he made a surprising choice. He posted an ad to Craigslist in Roanoke, Virginia, with the title “Free to anyone willing to home.”

According to Facts Verse, the ad starts off as such: 

“My girlfriend does not like my beagle Molly. SO I have to rehome her. 

She is a purebred from a wealthy area and I have had her 4 years. She likes to play games. Not totally trained. Has long hair so she’s a little high maintenance, especially the nails, but she loves having them done.”

It had a picture of his dog Molly. At first, you think that it is an advertisement for giving up his pet. 

“Stays up all night yapping but sleeps while I work. Only eats the best, most expensive food.

Will NEVER greet you at the door after a long day or give you unconditional love when you’re down. Does not bite but she can be mean as hell!”

For someone trying to give their dog away, he doesn't make her sound all that appealing.

“So… anyone interested in my 30-year-old, selfish, wicked, gold-digging girlfriend?” he asks. “Come and get her! Me and my dog want her re-homed ASAP!!”
