Woman Shopping In Goodwill Makes A Discovery From The Past On Shelf That Makes Her Knees Shake

This woman was shopping in Goodwill when she found an old baseball glove. The story behind it left her shaking - and caused her to buy it immediately. Here's why.

Julie Anne is originally from Ohio and retired to Florida. She went shopping at her local thrift store, Goodwill, located in a town called Jupiter. While thrift stores may not be appealing to some people, they sometimes contain hidden gems - practically-new clothing for $10 or less, appliances, furniture, strange but charming antiques - and in Julie's case, a baseball glove.

As Julie took a closer look at the glove, she made a shocking discovery. The glove had her son's name on it, in his handwriting.

It was the same glove he'd lost 40 years ago after winning a championship baseball game.

He hit 2 home runs, and in the post-game excitement, lost his glove. Julie took a picture and sent it to her son, who replied with "buy it now."

You can see in the video that Julie did just that - rushing the glove over to the cashier and purchasing it for only $1.49. How did a glove lost 40 years ago, and 1,000 miles away, wind up at this Goodwill? It's a mystery that everyone will be pondering for a long time. Clearly, though, it was meant to be.

Check out the news clip for yourself and see if you can figure out how the glove made it all the way to Florida. Julie's emotional response will touch you:
