Woman's Makeover Gives Her A Youthful Glow For Her 67th Birthday

Earlier this year, Monica from Central Iowa paid Christopher Hopkins aka "The Makeover Guy," a visit to get an entirely new look in time for her 67th birthday.

Your birthday week is always a good time to upgrade your look as you embark on a new year in your life. After some frustration at the way her hair is done at local salons, Monica from Central Iowa made an appointment with Christopher Hopkins aka "The Makeover Guy," to receive a proper transformation. 

"You take a picture from a magazine or something take it to the beautician it doesn't necessarily look good on you," she tells in her interview. "And I saw the (The Makeover Guy) videos I thought, 'He'll know how to fix my hair.'"

Monica, who was approaching her 67th birthday, said she feels "like a 70, 80-year-old" in the mornings and wanted that to change.

She added: "For my hair color, I don't know if he can go lighter because it's been dyed so many times." Little did she know what Christopher had up his sleeves: He turned Monica into a redhead!

"I wanted a change and this is a big one," she exclaimed. "Never pictured myself as a redhead. I think it's going to be easy to take care of."

Quite uniquely, the majority of the comments made in the video were not even about her hair or makeup, but how good Monica looked for someone who was turning 67 even before the makeover. 

Comments read: "She sure did not look that age before or after" or "She looked very young for her age to began with" while others complimented her radiant skin and even asked what her skincare routine is, saying: "I need to know her skincare routine. Lovely before and Hollywood glamour after."
