Planning a wedding involves many things. While you may concentrate on the venue, wedding dress and inviting guests, there could be no wedding without the engagement ring. Before the big day, there is possibly a nervous man who walks into a jewelry store with no idea which engagement ring to buy for his girlfriend.
If you are just about to buy an engagement ring, you need to be careful to avoid a popular trend called “ring shaming.” A few groups have emerged on Facebook where members post images of engagement or wedding rings to criticize them.
A member of one of those groups found a ring in her mate’s nightstand. Well, you would think she might be quite excited about the good news. Everybody would have thought she would start wondering how her boyfriend would propose.

But instead, the lady was unhappy with the engagement ring. She took a picture and posted it in one of the favorite ring shaming groups seeking advice on how to request her boyfriend to buy a different ring.
The interesting post went viral and was posted on Reddit. While some of the comments appreciate the man, some people are shocked by the lady’s attitude.
One of the comments read, “I still am amazed by how ungrateful someone can be when someones willing to spend that much money on them.”
Another lady said, “My man could propose to me with a Walmart ring and I'd be happy. How can you be so spoiled and ask people to roast it :(”
Although we may not be sure if the lady got the advice she needed, we hope she didn’t disappoint her boyfriend.
The poor man was probably scared about the proposal and engagement.
