Woman Notices A Moving Trash Bag On The Side Of The Road - You Won't Believe What's Inside

Running late for work, a Kentucky woman encountered a huge surprise on the side of the road that absolutely left her in shock. She immediately pulled over to the side of the road, and she filmed the entire ordeal for you and everyone else to see.

Melissa S. Lewis, who works at an elementary school in Kentucky, had to take one of the back roads to save time because she was running extremely late.

Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed a large black trash bag moving very oddly. Something inside of her knew that this wasn't the time to keep on driving. She decidedly pulled over to the side of the road and approached this odd sight.

You can see in the video that the black trash bag was knotted very tight, and there was definitely something moving inside.

Melissa had to rip through the trash bag to free whatever was trapped inside. A poor little puppy that was sporting a collar quickly busted out, tail wagging and all. Had not for Melissa running late that day, this little pup would have either suffocated or have been hit by an oncoming vehicle.

She then drove off with the excited puppy on her lap and brought it to the elementary school.

At the school, she gave her son a call to come and take the puppy home. The puppy, now donning the name "Hefty," was immediately adopted by the Lewis family and he couldn't ask for a more caring home.

Sadly, animal cruelty happens on a daily basis, no matter what part of the world you come from.
