Love is an amazing thing. A combination of thoughts, feelings, instincts, and hormones, falling in love is a great feeling. People who are newly in love feel like the whole world is opening fresh to them. And Jessica Sharman has had the opportunity to feel that way twice, with the same guy. Her story is unique. Jessica had a medical issue that made her forget her early relationship with her boyfriend.

Jessica Sharman has frontal lobe epilepsy. This is a chronic illness, and it has caused big changes in her life. One of those occurred on an average day, on the way to work. Sharman had a seizure that caused significant memory loss. Luckily, her boyfriend was commuting with her. He took care of her until she could get proper medical attention. But still, there were memories she'd lost for good. Including her memory of their whole relationship. And that wasn't the only important person she couldn't remember. Even her mother was a stranger to her.

However, Jessica's boyfriend Richard Bishop found a silver lining in the situation. He got to court her all over again. At first, it was rough going. Jessica didn't seem to like him. Her parents urged her to try spending time with Richard, but she wouldn't hold his hand during walks. However, Richard was so insistent that they could recapture the magic that Jessica agreed to give him a second chance. He knew that if he put his best foot forward, they could make it work again.

Speaking with Apost, Jessica told us that her relationship with Richard is still going strong. She explained: "Last year, we purchased our first home and are currently renovating the property. He also popped the question last September!" What wonderful news considering their story of true love.

Regarding her health, she explained that she was well and seeing a memory specialist, she was trying, "alternative therapies such as acupuncture, meditation, supplements, veganism." We wish her all the best in her journey, but knowing she has Richard by her side must make it a lot easier.
