Woman Left 'In Tears' After Spending $300 On Haircut Which Made Her Look Like A Karen

Getting a makeover typically makes people feel like a brand new person in the best way possible. It can also give you a newfound sense of confidence and make you feel absolutely beautiful. Even though makeovers usually take a good amount of time and can be a bit pricey sometimes, most people hope that they will be worth it in the end. This was unfortunately not the case for one woman.

TikTok user @icarlyreboot spent an astonishing $300 for her new makeover. With that kind of cash spent, it's safe to say that she was expecting to completely fall in love with the end result and be blown away. Not only was the makeover everything she didn't want and more, but it made her look like the type of person who always asks for the manager. The TikTok comedian was heartbroken at seeing her new look and called herself a Karen. 

She couldn't believe that she had such a terrible haircut after spending so much money, but turned to making jokes to help ease her pain. The woman couldn't stop crying and laughing at her atrocious new haircut and tried to embrace her new look and personality to go along with it. She uploaded a video making fun of herself and reacting to her new hairdo on TikTok on Sept. 9, 2021, and the video has since become a viral sensation. Although the woman was very unhappy with her new appearance, she found a way to laugh at herself and has been making people laugh all across the world ever since.

Horrified By Her Haircut

After getting a makeover or haircut, most people expect to feel absolutely amazing and are excited to look in the mirror. This was not the case for TikTok user @icarlyreboot. The woman describes herself as a "tattooed comedian with no will to live" and uploads plenty of hilarious videos on her TikTok account. One of her most popular videos thus far is one of her reacting to getting a horrible haircut.

In her TikTok from Sept. 9, 2021, the comedian referred to herself as a Karen as she stared in horror at her new look while sitting in her car. Her hair had previously been a dark brunette color that reached her chin. After getting her hair cut for $300, she had a completely new look and even came up with a new personality to match. 

She had a few inches taken off and her hair had been dyed a strawberry blonde color, but not all of her hair had been dyed and blended properly. It definitely wasn't the result that she was expecting. "I just paid $300 to look like a f***ing Karen," the comedian said in her TikTok. "I look like I'm on the PTA. I swear I don't drive a f***ing minivan."

The new self-described Karen couldn't stop crying every time she looked at her haircut, but also couldn't stop laughing at how absolutely ridiculous she looked. Despite being in such a frustrating situation, the woman managed to find a silver lining and began trying to cheer herself up a bit by embracing her new look. Fully taking on the Karen persona her haircut had bestowed upon her, the comedian was officially ready to move forward.

Embracing Her New Look

After she mentally prepared to fully become a Karen, the comedian put on a small performance while still crying and laughing inside her car. "Okay, let's practice, 'Let me speak to your manager,'" she said. "Oh my God, why does God f***ing hate me!"

Several TikTok users felt for the tattooed comedian and her pain, but also couldn't stop laughing at how hilarious her impression of a Karen was. The video has been viewed over 5.3 million times and has received more than 845,000 likes and 21,000 comments so far. According to Indy100, one TikTok user commented, "Girl I have been there! I got 8 inches cut off unplanned and the hairstylist kept cutting. I was in tears." 

Another user asked what the comedian had originally gone to the salon for. The user wrote, "I need to know what you were going for in the first place? Like how did she mess up so bad? Not that it looks bad but you clearly think so." The comedian replied and showed pictures of long, strawberry blonde hair.

On Sept. 20, 2021, @icarlyreboot uploaded a new TikTok talking about how weird it's been becoming an overnight viral sensation. "I think it's so funny," she said. "I don't believe I'm interesting enough but apparently I am interesting enough to be surfing across the entire internet." She also credited her haircut as something that is helping her grow her comedy career and currently has 189,000 followers. We're happy to see her in such good spirits about the situation!
