There are also many fairytales and fables that help to teach meaningful lessons through the personification of deer. These spotted animals are nearly as cute as puppies. This is part of the reason why humans feel so connected to deer.

Other than seeing the occasional deer in the forest, most people don't have much contact with these majestic animals. Every so often, people have the rare opportunity to experience a close encounter with deer.

These moments are full of wonder, excitement, and exhilaration. Most people don't know how to act in the presence of these careful and easily frightened animals. One Imgur user recently shared her spectacular encounter on the social site.

Amscolie, the individual's Imgur username, described the incident in great detail. She has been raising orphaned wildlife in her home for many years. One day, she noticed that her back door was left wide open during a storm. The deer for which she was caring for were nowhere to be found. After searching the house, Amsocolie found the deer in her living room near an end table.

She allowed the animals to stay in her home for the remainder of the storm in order to stay warm and dry.

Animals are able to detect when foul weather is approaching. These three deer knew that a warm home would be the perfect protection for the storm. Amscolie couldn't say 'no' to the cute little faces. It's always nice to hear a story about a human who goes out of their way to be kind to animals.
