In 2019, Greenbay, Wisconsin resident Maureen Pritchard went to great lengths to give her husband an April Fool's Day surprise that he wouldn't ever forget. The past several months, she has been saving her Amazon boxes, and on April 1, she strategically placed them in her front yard right before her husband came home.

In her Facebook post, Maureen explained, "I’ve been planning an April Fools joke to play on Rob for MONTHS!! I got him good! I wish I would have continued to record right away when he came in the house."

Rob saw that Maureen had her video camera out when he arrived at the house, so she thought he knew that it was a joke. She found out he didn't know when he asked her, "What IS all that?", according to Maureen's post.

Maureen told him that the boxes belonged to herself, her sister and her parents, and that they had been saving them for six months, NBC Green Bay reports.

"I’m sure he thought, ‘Oh what did she do now. Why are all those Amazon boxes,’” Maureen told the news outlet. “You know it's all just in fun, nobody got hurt, nothing got wasted and most people are just laughing about it and I love to make people laugh. I think it's great and we need to do more of that."

Maureen's local news station also noted that since she posted the video in April 2019, it has garnered hundreds of thousands of views and overseas media attention.
