Woman Is "Too Old" For Long Hair — Cuts It Off During Makeover And Feels Twenty Years Younger

Hailing from north-west Oklahoma, Rhonda is a 54-year-old woman who's kept her hair longer to appease her children, although she's not a fan. But after a makeover with Christopher Hopkins AKA The Makeover Guy, she has it cut short and feels as though she also took twenty years off.

Opening the video saying that she's 54 but feels as though she's 34, Rhonda has hair to her shoulders but says she's "too old to have long hair," and if it's long she only ever wears it in a ponytail. A school teacher who works with four-year-olds and a recent grandmother, Rhonda needs something that isn't in her face all the time but matches her personality. Her children, however, like her hair longer, which made her hesitant to cut it off.

Well, The Makeover Guy and his team gave Rhonda a full transformation, boosting the blonde in her hair, giving her dramatic eye makeup, and creating "a stacked, inverted, chin-length bob," while complimenting her as "one of the rare few who can wear her hair around her heart-shaped face."
The result is a completely new woman—Rhonda looks fantastic and is clearly thrilled with her new shorter do. She says she sees "a better me" while her bubbly personality shows through more than ever. She's making jokes and has a new lease on life.
Christopher explains he: "didn't think she was 'too old' for long hair, but since she didn't feel good with her hair long and it did not suit her sassy personal style, we decided this would be a good compromise."
After a video call with her daughter, Rhonda's look gets "children approved." Describing the wonderful day she's had with The Makeover Guy's team, including sharing a shot of tequila with Christopher to celebrate National Tequila Day—a first for Rhonda—she proudly says with a smile "I'm not 54 anymore...I'm 34."
