Woman Has 93-Year-Old Mom Arrested On Her Birthday For Reason That Is Quickly Making Headlines

Nobody ever expected Kristen Danley Simone to be arrested on her birthday. The sensational reason was a tribute to her love of cop shows on television. This was a birthday she will never forget. 
 

Kristin Danley Simone is a sweet senior citizen in her 90's. Her neighbors were shocked when a squad car in Augusta, Maine pulled up outside of her home. The shock intensified when Officer Doody escorted her out of her home and put her in the backseat of his squad car.

When she saw the officer outside of her door, the look on her face was priceless. Anne M. Dumont is her daughter and she was there to see her mother being arrested. She stated on Facebook that it was her mothers own fault and the reason is extraordinary. 

Simone is a very big fan of the television show cops and also happened to be celebrating her 93rd birthday. Anne talked to the police department in Augusta, Main and convinced them to go in cahoots with her. This was the reason her mother was arrested on her birthday. 

Officer Doody arrested Simone very gently so she could feel what it was like to be arrested and sit in the back of the police car. It was the same as the people on her favorite television show felt.

She had difficulty believing this was happening to her.

She is always talking about how the police have a rough job and what it would feel to be arrested. 

This incredible birthday surprise was shared by Anne in Facebook. She said her mother was absolutely thrilled to be sitting inside of a squad car. The officer even allowed her to sit in the front so she could push the button for the siren. Simone had the opportunity to check out the squad car. 

Officer Doody gave Simone a nice hug and an authentic junior officer decal from the Augusta Police Department. Simone could not believe what had happened. A couple days later, Simon told her daughter she had made her entire life. Anne decided to leave a message on Facebook.

Anne gave a huge thank you to the Augusta Police Department for making the time in their schedules for her mother. She said more than a month later she is still so happy and talking about her arrest. She even has pictures as proof of the event. Simone was never actually taken to jail but her birthday surprise was fantastic.
