Woman Grabs For Camera When She Catches Roofers Doing Something Unexpected

One woman in Maine got a pleasant surprise recently when she spotted roofers on a nearby house behaving oddly. She immediately ran for her camera because she knew nobody would believe what had happened otherwise. 
 

Somewhere nearby, the "Star Spangled Banner" began playing. That was when the roofers sprang to action to show their respect and patriotism. 

This isn't the first time an act of patriotism has gone viral. During a high school performance of "Star Spangled Banner", the poor boy shown in the image's instrument broke. Unable to play his instrument, he instead chose to stand to attention to ensure the song and therefore his country was shown the respect it deserved.

More recently, the American National Anthem has seen its share of controversy during the NFL when some players chose to kneel during the song as a form of protest. As a result, the song has been clouded in negativity of late. 

These roofers' actions are therefore even more noteworthy for showing that the song still has honor and meaning for many. As soon as they heard the "Star Spangled Banner" play, they dropped their tools and stood to attention.

In an interview with Fox one of the roofers, Dwayne Harrison, spoke of his surprise at the attention he and his coworkers have received. When asked why they did it, he noted that he and his pals still believe in the traditional honor of the song. It didn't even cross their minds to ignore it.
