Recently, a woman gave birth to a baby in a French nightclub, and the owners have bestowed free entry to the baby for life. The young mother gave birth to the child on the dance floor of the disco when she was out for a night of fun.

According to La Depeche, a French newspaper, the birth took place at about 5:30 a.m. on November 11. The nightclub was O'Club, a disco located in the south region of France. The pregnant teen was said to have been in a lot of pain, and she decided that a night out on the town was a good way to take her mind off of the discomfort. The thought never occurred to the young lady that her pains could be due to the onset of labor.

The teen's contractions began late at night at the disco, and, luckily for her, the club staff quickly took action to help calm her and get her into a comfortable position to deliver the baby. “We had to react very quickly,” Marie-Helene, the club's manager told the French outlet. “The girl was not panicked, but worried.”
Marie-Helene said that the birth occurred at 5:30 a.m. when the club was closing. "There wasn't a lot of people left in the place and one of my members of staff came over to me and said, 'it's urgent', "Marie-Helene recalled to the newspaper. The manager immediately realized that the teen girl was about to give birth, but there wasn't enough time to get her to a hospital, so they had to act quickly. One of the employees of the disco called a medical helpline for guidance as they helped the teen deliver the child.
“What is positive is that we did not panic, and we were not afraid,” she said.

The teen was one of the last people left in the club because she couldn't walk. Her friend had apparently suggested that she go out to have fun because she had been dealing with some personal problems lately.
The teen gave birth to a healthy baby boy before paramedics arrived. "It's definitely one of the more bizarre closings we've had," Marie-Helene said. She hopes the young mother will keep in touch with the club about the baby's progress and says that when the child is of drinking age he has "free admission for life."
