Woman Gets Makeover To Overturn Nearly A Decade Of Hardship

Jo from Yorkshire in the UK has had a run of bad luck over the last 8 years with health issues including ovarian cancer, being run over, and getting blood poisoning. After all this hardship Jo decided she wanted a change to light her up after these dark times. She did this by going to The Makeover Guy and letting him work his magic.

Jo has not had the best time of late so she wanted something to look forward to that would turn her life around. The Makeover Guy, real name Christopher Hopkins, has a reputation for changing lives. This is why Jo decided that she needed to go all the way to the US to see him because he's the best, and as she told him "There's nobody else that does what you do."

He certainly didn't disappoint! You can see the shock on her face when she is handed a mirror and sees her new makeover for the first time. Her eyes light up and she gasps: "Wow! Different. It doesn't look like me." Her emotion is clear–she loves her new look!
Her long graying hair is now a short, sleek blonde bob. Her eye makeup is fabulous, and her face is glowing, highlighting her youthful complexion. When The Makeover Guy asked if it was worth traveling all that way for this new style she replied: "Definitely!"
Jo finished off by speaking to the camera and reminding us that "You don't have to get dull as you get older." She urges other people to make it happen for themselves too.
This shows us that whatever trials and tribulations we go through in life, we all deserve to feel good. We all deserve to treat ourselves, especially when we feel like we've hit our lowest point, and sometimes a makeover is the boost we need.
