Woman Gets Fresh Makeover For Seventieth Birthday

Patty from Sasketchwan, Canada was turning 70 and had grown her hair out for a new look. Christopher Hopkins aka "The Makeover Guy," decided to swop her burgundy-colored hair for a brighter shade of red in a classic bob with blunt bangs.

Patty was turning 70. She's come all the way from Regina, Sasketchwan, Canada to see what The Makeover Guy can do about her grown-out locks.
"Just kind of been growing my hair in the last three years and I've kind of gotten to that point where it needs more," she says. "I don't want to go super short because I've been there done that."

With Christopher Hopkins aka The Makeover Guy's vision, colorist and makeup artist Jamie Riplinger gave Patty's crowning glory a brighter red cut into a classic bob with blunt bangs. Patty's new flaming red hair brings out her naturally green eyes while the bob frames her face, accentuating her beautiful dimples.
"I love it. It's amazing," reacts Patty. "I thought maybe I would go back to my brunette because I thought, well, what's he going to do that's going to be different, but I'm glad that you saw me." Patty's makeup look was simple: foundation, light smoky eyeshadow, contour, and falsies.
Thanking Christopher and Jamie, Patty says:
"I kind of feel like somebody's blown on my inner flame ... It's just been an experience of a lifetime."
