67-year-old Candace Brandt is in a "new season of life." This feisty albeit good-humored woman from Indiana is starting anew after having quit her job. "I recently left a job that I've been at for quite a while. Trying to break some old habits. Start fresh," she says at the start of the video posted in back in July.

"You can cut my hair any way you want and I can make it look the same way as it did before I came in," she jokes to Christopher Hopkins. "I'm 67, chronologically. Some days I'm about 12. My favorite decade was my 20s. I was thinner and livelier and all of those things."

She thought she had thin fine hair, but it is actually just brittle hair with body that needs the support of drying with clips in order for its natural body to take over.

Like many women who's been graced with the hands of The Makeover Guy, Candace describes her time with Hopkins and his crew as an "experience of a lifetime." "I'm going to cry," Candace says. "You're used to doing everything for everyone else (that) to do something for yourself is a little uncomfortable ... I, sort of, describe it as being a utility," she expresses.

Stylist Kayla Francis gave Candace's hair a new lease of life with a livelier shade of blonde and highlights. Her tresses are styled to appear lightly tousled for an effortless look. To complement her new hair, Kayla applied some dusty rose eyeshadow to bring more attention to Candace's eyes.

Candace shares that this is her present to herself for quitting her job. "Maybe they will see me differently. That would be nice," she says while fighting back tears.

"Darn it, I'm a pretty girl. Darn it. Pretty girls don't cry."

After checking herself out in a mirror and going "holy cow," she and Hopkins break spontaneously into song, singing The Supremes' Stop! In the Name of Love. But the fun is not over – Her personality continues to shine in the video as she flaunts a Minnesotan accent detailing the way she prepares lefse and lutefisk, popular Norwegian dishes. Her new look has really allowed her to embrace her whimsical side on camera!
