Having a robber enter your home is not a pretty experience. All robberies are not the same, but they all have one goal in common -- to take something from the home. Just like all rules, there is an exception to the rules of robbery goals. An exception occurred when a woman broke into a home and left empty-handed by her own will.

This story happened to a resident of Hamden, Ohio. The resident came home that day to see someone in their home. The most interesting thing? The robber did not steal anything. In fact, all she did was pet the dog and wash the dishes.

The resident told the authorities that the woman came into the house through the back door. She sat on the couch at first. Then, as if nothing strange was going on, she washed the dishes in the sink and petted the dog.

Still, the owner of the house called the local authorities who identified the woman in the house as Cheyenne Ewing. They went in and walked the woman back outside. Other residents have also complained of a 31-year-old woman walking around and knocking on people's doors.

When Ewing was arrested, she was charged with burglary, although she did not technically steal anything. The most surprising thing was the lack of emotion or resistance when she was cuffed up. Jordan, a man who knew Ewing for years, shared that her going to prison was the best thing that could be done for her.

According to her old-time acquaintance she was a victim of the opioid epidemic and was constantly on narcotics. According to studies, the opioid problem is more serious than suspected. It has become a methamphetamine problem that has turned into a true drug crisis.

Speller and grammar checker English As the woman was taken away, she even gave Deputy Michelle Thomas a false name in her first contact with authorities. According to accounts of what had happened, Ewing was awake for two days in a row when the accident happened.

The arrest took place in Viton County -- a small county in Ohio without any cities and a small population. People there had an easier time recognizing her because of the small population.

Kevin Jordan, a neighbor of the house where Erwin was caught, laughed about the story of a harmless robber at first. He even thought it was a joke. At least this burglar was friendly -- she even washed the dishes and that is not something that others do for you every day.

"At least she's a friendly burglar, you know?" Jordan said to WSAZ.
