Anyone who loves going to school wouldn't want to be sent home for lack of tuition money. When a good Samaritan comes along to help a needy student out with good intention, they wouldn't say no.

However, not everyone is lucky to find someone who can cater to their school fees. Such students may have to depend on luck to get through school. But this is not the case for one lucky college girl.

Today in the U.S., almost every young person desires to go to college. It's a stage that no one wants to skip. Going to college is an incredible experience that gives you the right skills for many jobs. The degree you acquire will help you land a good full-time job.

Unfortunately, college can be expensive. Many universities and colleges offer financial help to the needy students, but it is not always enough for all who need it.

Terri Patterson, aged 24, is a Roosevelt University student with a $7,000 tuition balance. She was distraught after learning that no financial aid would cover her school fees. She wanted to continue her education but couldn't afford to pay the huge tuition amount.

Terri has an older sister called Tierra, who is currently studying for her Ph.D. Terri turned to Tierra for advice because she wanted to call off one semester. However, Tierra wanted her sister to continue with her studies non-stop. She said that money should ever be the reason why her sister called off a semester, and so she paid all her tuition fee.

When Terri opened the gift she received from Tierra on Christmas day, she was joyfully surprised to find a small piece of paper in the box. The note said that Tierra would pay Terri's school balance. Little did Terri know that Tierra was filming it all.

Tierra then posted the video on Twitter. Aside from the video, she tweeted that although financial aid wasn't going to cover her sister's tuition, she was going to pay for it in full. Her little sister wasn't going to sit out of college the following semester while she was alive. Tierra told her younger sister not to worry, as she's got her back forever.
