Willie Nelson’s Son Recreated His Classic Hit

Back in 2013, Lukas Nelson, son of Willie Nelson, surprised an audience with a surprise jam session while on a cruise. To everyone's delight, he grabbed the microphone and began to sing as well.

He performed his own version of Always on My Mind. The song was originally made famous by his father Willie Nelson. From this performance, you can see how Lukas is following in his footsteps. However, this is not the first time that he has put his musical abilities on display.

Lukas has been delving deep into the music industry for years. In fact, he's part of a band known as Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real.

His band tours the countryside often. They love traveling the nation in order to spread their music far and wide. Unsurprisingly, Lukas' group has over a whopping 367,000 loyal followers on Facebook.

It's no shock that so many people love their music. His voice is reason enough, and that's all he had for this impromptu performance. There was no band to back him up. However, his soul-filled rendition of Always on My Mind definitely won over some fans that evening.

Can you believe that Willie Nelson's version hit the charts over three decades ago? Yet, the lyrics still find a way to touch the heart of anyone who hears them. They are especially powerful during Lukas' genuine performance.
