While you may think of Alfred Hitchcock when you think of “Vertigo,” it’s not just an excellent film. Vertigo is a potentially serious medical condition that causes the sensation that the person or objects around the person are moving when they aren’t.

How does vertigo feel?

People may feel they are spinning or swaying. It is a common type of dizziness reported to medical professionals. Though dizziness or spinning is the most common symptom of vertigo, it can also cause nausea and vomiting. Severe vertigo can make it difficult to function in daily life.

How to cure it!

To combat vertigo, a professor of otolaryngology developed an effective solution for those suffering from vertigo: a half-somersault position.

To use this maneuver to cure your vertigo, start by kneeling on your knees on the floor. Tip your head back to look at the ceiling, then bend forward and place your head on the floor in preparation for a somersault.

In this position, turn your head to face your left elbow. Remain in this position and breathe until vertigo passes. Turn your head back to the center and raise it to align with your back. Sit the rest of the way up. Breathe slowly in this position for a moment before returning to your daily activities.

Using this technique has been successful for those suffering from vertigo, including people all over the world.

If you know someone who suffers from vertigo, be sure to let them know about this easy and effective solution!
