Many teenage drivers have a reputation for not being the best at driving. They can sometimes be perceived as impatient due to their lack of experience on the road. Young drivers often play their music too loud, drive too fast, or change lanes too often and too fast because they’re too excited to finally be driving. But of course, this isn’t true for every teenage driver.

One 16-year-old boy stepped up to the plate in a moment of crisis and is proving why all drivers should be more careful and understanding of others on the road. Without his kindness, who knows how the situation would have turned out!
One day while the new driver, named Max Greenwood, was driving around town, he saw something that made him stop and take action. He saw a driver with their car parked in front of a stop sign looking disheveled.

Max knew that he had to stop and figure out what was wrong. When looking around the area, other drivers seemed to be aggravated and frustrated with the driver taking over the lane and being in their way, honking their horns and passing the car.
Nobody seemed to care if the driver was having an emergency except Max. So Max immediately jumped right out of his car and decided to see if everything was okay. Thankfully, two other women followed his lead and joined to see if the driver was okay as well.
Once approaching the car, they weren’t sure what was going on with the driver. But after a few moments, the driver was able to speak and admitted that he thought his blood sugar could possibly be too low. After a woman decided to share a Coke with him to fix his problems, Max knew that it was time to step in and call an ambulance instead.

When the responders arrived, they noticed that the man was suffering from an episode and the situation could have been much worse if Max didn’t stop to help him and call an ambulance.
When asked why out of all the cars he was the one that decided to stop, Max explained that it’s all about doing for others what you would want to be done for you. He was raised to always do the right thing, and to be a kind and compassionate person that is willing to help others around him.
Will this make you rethink the way you help strangers around you? Small acts of kindness can change or save the lives of others. When’s the last time you helped someone out that was in need?
