When A Woman Is Rude To Him This ‘Dirty Biker’ Has The Perfect Response

Stereotypes are there for a reason? Think again! This biker will show you that looks don’t always portray what’s on the inside.

Luc Perreault looks like a typical biker - or let’s say at least like the image people have imprinted in their minds: he has tattoos, he likes beer, he doesn’t mind cursing, he loves riding his motorcycle. He himself even says that he looks like he “ would eat your soul if you stare at [him] wrong”. But remember: there’s so much more to a person than meets the eye.

A few years back, Luc was taking his mom’s motorbike out for a ride when he stopped at a Tim Horton’s restaurant in Canada. There, a little girl noticed him and instead of being frightened by his appearance, she walked over and greeted him. Needless to say, Luc replied to the warm welcome.

A normal exchange between two strangers - but when the girl’s mother saw this, she immediately pulled her daughter away from the man. While they were heading off, Luc overheard the mother explain to the child that she wasn’t allowed to “talk to dirty bikers”.

Struck by these words, the biker later on decided to post an open letter addressed to the mom. His Facebook posting went viral in no time - and this is a good thing. This is what Luc wrote:

“To the family in the red SUV at Tim Horton’s today,

Yes I am a big 280 lbs guy with motorcycles and full of tattoos. I am a welder, I am loud, I drink beer, I swear and I look like I would eat your soul if you stare at me wrong.

What you don’t know is that I have been happily married for 11 years, my kids call me daddy, I am a college graduate… My mother is proud of me and tells everyone how lucky she is to have such a wonderful son, my nieces and nephews are always happy to see there m’noncl Luc...When my daughter broke her arm, I cried more than she did. I read books, I help people, I go out of my way to thank war veterans and I even cried at Armageddon…

So next time I smile and say hi to your little girl and you grab her and tell her, ‘No no dear, we don’t talk to dirty bikers’... Remember that even tho you hurt my feelings, this ‘dirty biker’ would be the first person to run into your burning house to save your little girls goldfish so she wouldn’t be sad!

- L.P."

The story of Luc is just one out of many but a prime example of why you can’t judge a person’s character by their mere looks. Be open-minded and embrace each other!
