Whale Peeks Above Surface To Get Attention Of Boater - He Sees What's Wrong And Dives In Water

Imagine being out at sea and then suddenly seeing a huge whale peek above the water surface near where your boat is. Your first response may be to stay put and take a picture. Even after doing that, you're unlikely to stay there for long.

You might probably take your boat as far away from the whale as possible because you don't know what the giant mammal might do to your boat. However, that's not what one fisherman did.

Instead of running away, James Moskito jumped into the water to see what was wrong with the whale because it seemed like it was in pain.

Once he got closer to the well, he realized that the humpback was entangled in heavy crab nets that kept weighing him down. As such the whale couldn't breathe properly. The whale was struggling to get itself out of the water and breathe.

James Moskito called his fishermen buddies and together they slowly cut the ropes in an effort to free the whale. James kept petting the mammal as the others cut the ropes.

Amazingly, the whale was very cooperative and did not try to run away or attack the fishermen. It slowly opened its mouth and allowed the men to cut the ropes in the mouth.

The fishermen took their time until they freed the whale from the ropes. Upon getting free, the whale slowly swam around the fishermen as a sign of appreciation before going under.
