One of the most intriguing and exciting elements of life is the realm of relationships. Oftentimes, people come into our lives and we experience a moment of immense, intense excitement. Yet these moments might also be filled with doubt, misunderstandings, impatience, and concern.
Oftentimes, the emotions we experience when in the presence of a new acquaintance result from the fact that we don't know why the other individual has come into our life. To gain clarity regarding the wide range of reasons that an individual is now in your world, review the following information:
They Are Sent To Remind Us.

Oftentimes, people come into our lives to remind us of a goal or vision that we had or lost. This person doesn't have to come into our lives with the specific intent of causing us to remember a long-standing, unrealized objective. In some cases, this individual is simply filled with passion or knowledge about a specific field or subject. For example, you may have formerly desired to open up a domestic violence facility which offers holistic recovery services for women who have just escaped abusive relationships.
Yet at some point, a life circumstance-such as a family emergency, unexpected bill, or vocational opportunity-may have sidetracked you such that you lack the energy or economic vitality necessary to realize your goal. It's wonderful to know that there will typically be at least one person in your immediate environment who intentionally or unintentionally reminds you of what you were attempting to do and even provides you with the resources or encouragement necessary to get back on track.

In some cases, an individual is meant to be in your life permanently. This reality is incredibly exciting and powerful because it gives both parties the opportunity to know one another deeply. Typically, the individuals who will have permanent place in your life include family members, spouse, and/or a best friend.
However, permanent relationships can start and subsequently grow in your 20s, 30s, and even into your golden years. As such, you should play close attention to new relationships in order to determine whether the other party might be the type of individual who'd like to stick around for years to come!
They Are Sent To Disrupt Our Comfort Zones.

At some point in time, even the most positive and progressive individuals will fall into a state of being referred to as "autopilot." This realm surfaces when we mechanically go through the process of completing our work assignments, going on dates, engaging in volunteer activities, making food choices, etc. Note that when you get in autopilot, you are not really alive.
You are going through the motions in a robotic, monotonous way that can engender boredom and preclude productivity. Luckily, the Universe will oftentimes send someone into our lives to disrupt a comfort zone that has been holding us back from growth and elevation in our personal or professional worlds.
They Are Sent To Facilitate Growth.

It's comforting to know that while growth can be engendered through auto suggestion, the Universe will often send someone along to facilitate positive change. In many cases, this could be a co-worker who lovingly offers to teach you a new skill that will empower you to earn a raise or complete your assignments with greater excellence and expedience.
They Are Sent To Offer Encouragement.

In some cases, individuals are sent into our lives to offer encouragement. This encouragement is important because everyone will experience periods of discouragement due to things like a difficult break-up, financial crisis, health issue, moral confusion, inability to make a big decision, etc. Smart, sensitive people recognize that what others need during this period is a calm, sensible voice encouraging them to stay in the battle until the resolution surfaces.
They Are Sent To Hold Space For You.

The term "holding space" has become immensely popular and common in numerous social circles these days. "Holding space" refers to a process in which an individual or community is there for another person during their time in need.
Rather than starting and sustaining a long-term relationship, this person can come through for you during a time of need in which the other individuals in your life are unable to assist you. An example of this would be an individual driving you to work for a few weeks while your car is in the shop.
Because relationships are one of the primary mediums through which the Universe encourages our growth, it's immensely important to pay attention to individuals who come into our lives. The information outlined above can help you and your friends to gain a deeper understanding regarding why a person has come into your life.
