We Can't Stop Laughing At This Mom's Illustration Of Why She's Not 'Nice' In The Morning

Sometimes, a mother gets up cranky in the mornings. There's no rhyme or reason as to why she's not in the best of moods, but one mother of a newborn shows her husband why she's in a bad mood each morning in excruciating detail.

Most mothers know that it can be exhausting making sure a newborn is fed in the middle of the night and changed shortly after being fed. Being up at all hours of the night can begin to take its toll on sleep, which can sometimes mean that mothers aren't very pleasant to deal with the next day.

There are times when mothers need to give an illustration as to what it's like getting up in the middle of the night while the baby's father sleeps peacefully in bed.

Mattea Goff literally illustrated to her husband just what she does each night for their baby. The Texas mother created a comical series of images to display what she feels like each day and what she does to feed their baby while making sure their baby is cared for instead of getting enough sleep herself.

She posted the images on social media sites, explaining that it was hard to explain in words to her husband how she was feeling. One of the images shows the couple sleeping in bed. She describes how her husband's nipples are pretty much useless because they don't give any milk to their baby. The baby is sleeping in a bassinet beside the bed.

Only a few hours later, the baby wakes up and is ready to eat. The husband is still sleeping while Mattea is wide awake and has to get to work feeding the baby. She puts the baby in the bed to make nursing a little easier, but the baby decides to slap away while nursing. Even these noises don't seem to wake up Mattea's husband. He rolls over and goes back to sleep.

One of the dialogue bubbles shows that she is thinking about getting a manicure while her baby spits up on the bed and on her shoulder. She knows that she needs to clean up the spit, but she's exhausted. All of this is done while her husband sleeps. The baby continues to kick for a little while before drifting off to sleep. A few hours later, the baby is up and wants to eat again.
