Watch: Happy Pup Can't Stop Belly Sliding Down Snowy Hill

Feb 15, 2019 by apost team

During this season of the year, some people look outside and don’t want to deal with the cold and the snow. Even if it’s not snowing where you live, you’re probably finding the weather rainy or colder than usual, and might not spend as much time outside as you would during the warmer seasons.

The major winter holidays of Christmas and New Years have happened, so you don’t have special events to detract your mind from the weather outside. A few weeks need to go by before the weather becomes warm and it’s more pleasant outdoors, and we can play in the sun.

Even our pets may be bored with being inside and want to go outside to play in the sunshine.

Our pets may prefer to snuggle under the covers inside rather than to play outside in the snow. But some breeds of dogs were bred to be outdoors in the winter.

For these dogs, a little snow won’t slow them down at all. In fact, they may prefer the weather a bit nippy around the edges as well as love playing in the snow.

These dogs may chase wild animals like birds and rabbits. They also love playing in and rolling on the snow outside.

One activity a dog might like to do outside is to roll or slide downhill. It may look silly, but rolling down a hill becomes fun with increasing speed as gravity takes over.

There’s no need to worry about the dog breeds who like being out in the snow. Mother Nature has provided them with a thick coat of fur to protect them from the outside elements.

Watch this dog have the time of his winter life:

This yellow Labrador loves rolling down a hill, going faster and faster. He loves the roll, gets right up and goes down the hill again. He doesn't need a slide to have fun. The lab just plops down on his bellies to slide! Pass this video along to your animal loving friends to make them smile.
