Led Zeppelin drummer, John Bonham, has a complicated drum piece in the popular song, "Good Times Bad Times." This part is widely revered as one of classic rock’s most notable moments when it comes to drumming. His overall playing style, as well as his skipping kick-drum technique in the verse, also makes this one of the hardest tricks in the book to pull off. The difficulty is just one reason of many that you'll be amazed at the cover video from Yoyoka Soma.

This eight-year-old from Japan is a bit of a drumming prodigy, beginning at the unbelievable age of two.

Yoyoka continues her hobby by being a member of a band with her family. You can tell she's been playing for years, as her Zeppelin cover seems effortless. She puts on a perfect performance (check out her foot 25 seconds into the video) with confidence and style that can only be achieved through years of practice and passion.

Here she is drumming away when she was only two:

There’s an abundance of cover videos on the internet thanks to platforms like YouTube, and tons of them showcase the skills of children. Soma’s video brings something new and special to the genre of videos. Her cover was intended to be her submission to a drumming contest hosted by Hit Like a Girl. Not only is her production flawless, but her skill level and confidence radiate through the performance, reminding us of Bonham’s own relaxed style, which can be difficult to pull off.

And then you see the happiness. Watching Soma’s talent fly around her drum kit during the chorus, you witness an obvious delight and joy radiating from the child.

This video breaks boundaries for cover videos and is definitely a must-see!

How impressive was that? Does this make you want to sign your child up for music lessons or learn an instrument yourself? Let us know your thoughts and show this video to your friends and family to brighten someone's day!
