Vet And Lamb Have Hysterical Dance-Off — Now The Video Is Going Viral

Nothing out of the ordinary was happening at the Longview Animal Care and Adoption Center. It was a normal Thursday, and nobody expected that to change. However, it would be this Thursday that would launch a small animal care center in Longview, Texas into viral fame.

Chris Kemper, the shelter director, is in charge of taking pictures throughout the office to post on their Facebook. On this particular Thursday, Chris noticed a vet tech's pet lamb doing funny things in the hallway. Erin Dryden adopted the lamb and cares for it at the animal center. Dryden shares a very close bond with her lamb named Ursula.

When Chris stepped out into the hallway, he noticed Ursula skipping behind the shelter's lead care technician. Nina Allen was on her way to a surgical suite as the lamb joyously trotted along. The dancing lamb instantly brought a smile to Nina's face. Chris decided to capture this moment to share online.

Chris commented that Ursula is like a puppy who jumps instead of wagging her tail when she is excited. Chris edited the footage of the two dancing before posting it online. He added some disco music and unique lyrics spoofing the famous "I Wanna Dance With Somebody" tune

After posting the video, Chris was only expecting this video to keep the shelter relevant on Facebook until the next day when more content would be posted. However, the video garnered more attention than he could have imagined. By the next morning, the video had raked in over 2.8 million views.

Media outlets started reaching out to the shelter to request interviews. This attraction brought in more views and likes for their Facebook page.

The video is now at over 5 million views and is continuing to grow each day. Chris hopes that these views will translate into more help for the animals in the shelter. He's hoping that people in the surrounding area will drive to the shelter because of the care provided to the animals.

He hopes that the video will inspire more people to take care of animals and treat them with kindness and respect.

Let's hope that Nina and Ursula's adorable dance routine can keep people thinking about the shelter - don't forget to pass this along to your friends and family to make them smile today!
