Ventriloquist Superstar Darci Lynne And Her Mom Sing The National Anthem In Beautiful Harmony

Since being crowned the winner of "America's Got Talent,” Darci Lynne has been riding on a stardom high! The season 12 winner has been busy performing all over the country and introducing new puppets to her line-up.

Darci Lynne, a 13-year-old from Oklahoma City, has already shown us that she is a skilled ventriloquist, yodeller, and opera singer, but have you ever heard her normal singing voice? It’s absolutely enchanting and something you can’t miss!

She was asked to sing the National Anthem prior to the start of the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon, but she was accompanied by an unlikely singing partner: her mom!
 

Wearing matching outfits, the Farmer duo took turns singing solo parts of the anthem before ending the performance with a beautiful harmonization of their voices. It’s suddenly clear where Darci got all of her talent from!

Darci grew up loving to sing, but being too shy to perform in front of others. Her parents realized she had a natural talent and encouraged her to compete at the International Cinderella Scholarship Program, where she met ventriloquist Laryssa Bonacquisti, who inspired her to get a puppet and learn this difficult skill for herself.
 

The rest is history! Darci Lynne went on to win America’s Got Talent and renew a nationwide love for this special type of performance.
