On Monday, the 37-year-old posted a touching video to her Instagram that shows Kobe Bryant coaching Gianna’s basketball team. In the post’s caption, Vanessa addresses how she feels after losing both her husband, Kobe Bryant, and her daughter, Gianna.

“My brain refuses to accept that both Kobe and Gigi are gone. I can’t process both at the same time,” she writes trying to put her feelings into words. “It’s like I’m trying to process Kobe being gone but my body refuses to accept my Gigi will never come back to me.”

She then goes on to describe how hard it is for her to accept that her little daughter’s life ended so abruptly.

“It feels wrong,” she expresses. “Why should I be able to wake up another day when my baby girl isn’t being able to have that opportunity?! I’m so mad. She had so much life to live. "

Still, Vanessa knows that she has to stay strong for her three daughters, Natalia, Bianka and Capri, who just lost their father as well as their beloved sister.

“Then I realize I need to be strong and be here for my 3 daughters,” Vanessa reveals. “Mad I’m not with Kobe and Gigi but thankful I’m here with Natalia, Bianka, and Capri.”
