Unstoppable Alex Trebek Goes To Lakers Game With Wife Despite Stage 4 Cancer Battle

“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek’s cancer diagnosis can’t stop him from enjoying outings with his wife. They were recently spotted at an LA Lakers basketball game living it up in the stands.

The beloved game show host announced on Youtube in March 2019 that he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since then he has been going through chemotherapy treatments, about which he openly discussed with the public. He approached near-remission in May, according to People, but the cancer came back. Despite the adversity, Trebek came back to host “Jeopardy!” and has been enjoying time with his wife Jean Currivan Trebek, who he credits for making him feel at ease, according to a conversation with People.

He and Jean attended a Lakers game on Christmas night, reports The Daily Mail, and fans were quick to point out his attendance on social media. Well-wishers sent their regards and remarked on how healthy he appeared. The Lakers ended up losing to the Clippers that night but it was a good night for Trebek fans.

Trebek has also used his celebrity platform to spread awareness about the disease. He works with the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to tell others about the various symptoms of pancreatic cancer to look out for.

“I wish I had known sooner that the persistent stomach pain I experienced piror to my diagnosis was a symptom of pancreatic cancer,” he said in an Instagram video.

It is wonderful to see Alex enjoying himself this holiday season and doing what he can to help others experiencing the same hardships.
