Unimpressed Little Girl Asks Kate Middleton Why She Hasn’t Dressed As Frozen’s Princess Elsa While Meeting Fans

The British Royal Family is the closest thing the world has to a fairytale, so it’s no surprise that children and adults all over the world flock to meet the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge whenever they make a public appearance. But sometimes, when you meet a celebrity in real life, they don’t quite live up to your expectations.

That was the case for one little girl who was fortunate enough to meet Kate Middleton in person. The Duchess of Cambridge was visiting the town of Keswick in the UK’s beautiful Lake District to attend a gathering honoring the people in the area who had been making a difference. She arrived in a chic, yet casual, outfit that consisted of a utility jacket and fashionable dark colored jeans.

However, when the little girl finally got her turn to meet Kate, she was less than impressed with the casual ensemble.

What had she been expecting instead? A Princess Elsa costume from Disney’s ‘Frozen’, of course! What else would a princess wear?

People reported that the little girl met the royal mother of three along with her sister and that the two presented her with a beautiful bouquet of flowers.

“It’s a princess,” their dad exclaimed. “You love princesses!”

According to their father, the little girls had been hoping the Duchess of Cambridge would be wearing her Princess Elsa dress.

The Duchess sweetly apologized. “I’m sorry,” she said. “I came in my trousers and my coat because I’m going to see some sheep.”

And see sheep she did! In fact, she and her husband, Prince William, actually tried their hand at shearing the sheep. You can see the results in the adorable video below.

What do you think? Do you like the Duchess' outfit, or do you think she should have worn an Elsa dress, too? Let us know in the comments and pass this along to your friends and family to see what they think!
