Unexpected Makeover Leaves Woman Stunned

Christopher Hopkins is The Makeover Guy and he's known for transforming women of a certain age and giving them a new lease on life. In this flashback video, a woman named Shelley has her turn in his makeover chair. Shelley has long black hair but is adamant she's not a short hair person. Thankfully Christopher didn't have big plans to cut off all of Shelley's hair—in the end, the makeover she receives has her feeling great!

Shelley starts the video saying she's really nervous and explains a bit about herself. She admits that her biggest fear is having bangs and that she's not a "short hair person." Well, then it's understandable why she's nervous—Christopher is known for transforming women drastically, and sometimes cutting most of their hair off! 

She seems timid as she talks to Christopher, who asks her if she's had short hair in the past. Shelley says that she has, once, in the 7th grade. She quickly adds: "But hair grows back," with a smile, suggesting that perhaps her one venture with short hair didn't end that well. She then admits that her biggest fear is having bangs. Well, at least Christopher now knows what not to give Shelley for her makeover!

Christopher then asks Shelley "Why now?" to which she responds "Why not?" That's a great point and shows that Shelley is up for anything—well, except for short hair and bangs!

Then comes the transformation—Shelley's dark brown hair is dyed black, accentuating her skin tone, while the lengths have been cut to just below the shoulder and given volume. Soft makeup with dark eyeliner adds to the look, setting off Shelley's gorgeous eyes. Her joy at her new look is apparent, as she shows off her new hair while saying:

"I feel I wanted something fresh and new, and full of bounce and life."

The Makeover Guy then asks Shelley what her favorite part was, to which she responds: "Talking to Christopher." She adds: "Seriously, I mean it was awesome. He's fun and very down to earth and personable...it was just me and him talking, we had a great conversation."

Christopher's talent is shown every time he does a makeover, but he clearly has a very charming way of being with women that we don't get to see. It's a testament to him as a person that not only is he able to give women a new lease on life through their appearance, but that so many women describe the wonderful time they've had with him and his team.

In the end, Shelley says "I feel great," and that's clear to see. Christopher Hopkins AKA The Makeover Guy really is a magician when it comes to making over women. His ability to transform not only their physical selves but help them to come out of their shells is what's truly inspiring.
