Tyler Perry Intervenes To Support 4 Children Of Murdered Single Mom

It is always wonderful to hear when a famous celebrity steps up and shares their wealth. After all, many movie stars make millions per movie! This is exactly what Tyler Perry, a huge Hollywood star, did for a woman named Tynesha Evans.

Evans was living in Georgia when tragedy struck. According to WSB-TV, she was struggling with financial issues and was about to be evicted from her home. Her boyfriend, Othniel Inniss, decided to step in and help. He told Evans to meet up with him at his bank so that he could withdraw some cash to help her. While this was wonderful news for Evans, it quickly turned into something terrible.

WSB-TV reported that Evans owed about $3,200. Maybe this large amount is what caused the tragedy to happen. Whatever the reason, her boyfriend ended up shooting and killing Evans. Her daughters were left orphaned and alone, crushed that they would never see their mother again. When they received a very unexpected telephone call that would make a world of difference to the family.

The man on the other end of the phone was none other than Tyler Perry. They hadn’t even planned to answer the phone but decided to at the last minute just to see who it was. They started to cry when she realized who she was on the phone with.

Many fans know Tyler Perry from the “Madea” series that he has appeared in, as well as the movie “Gone Girl.” Perry is often known for his charitable acts. He paid off a bunch of Christmas layaways in Walmart back in 2018, to the tune of $400,00, USA Today reported.

In this case, Perry offered to have Evans’ body flown back to Wisconsin, her home state. He offered to not only cover the cost of her flight but also the entire cost of the funeral. He then paid their rent for six months. But that wasn’t all! He paid off the cost of tuition for one of Evan's daughters who is currently going to Spelman College.

“I’m going to do what she wanted me to do,” Sharadiant said. “She started me on math, and now I’m going to get to graduate with a mathematics degree from Spelman College without debt, it means everything.”  – she told WSB-TV
