Two-Year-Old Boy Captures Hearts With His Take On Hip-Hop

Most toddlers are still struggling to walk upright at his age, but Jayden Silva, at two years old, can already dance better than some pros. He put on a remarkable performance to "Sweet Love" by Chris Brown at Artistic Dance Studio in Massachusetts back in 2013, which his mother happened to catch on video.

Hip-hop routine

The young child starts out kneeling, waiting for the music. He is wearing a baseball cap and loose clothing. As the music begins, he starts jumping and kicking his feet while throwing his arms out in front of him.

He incorporates his baseball cap into his routine, taking it off before pulling off a somersault and a pop back onto his feet. His dancing becomes more frenetic after the somersault, when he kicks and dances while doing pop-and-locks with his arms.

Most two-year-olds have an attention span of a microsecond, but Jayden is clearly a born dancer because he is intensely focused on his routine throughout the entire song.

Grand finale

The entire routine is mind-blowing as the toddler busts out moves that many adults can't pull off, but the end is the best. He freezes briefly, poised on tip-toes, and when the music cues his next move, he rips off his hat and hurls it across the room, followed by a deliberate, and very cute, head shake. Viewers of the video were quite impressed with his throwing skills at such a young age.

The video ended up on YouTube and went viral, with over 5.2 million views. And why not? Toddlers are cute, and toddlers with undeniable talent are rare; when you combine the cuteness factor with the talent factor, you have an unbeatable combination.

The video was recorded at the Artistic Dance Studio in Fall River, MA, which offers dancing lessons in a variety of dance styles to children and adults of all ages. Someone at the studio developed the choreography that Jayden performed with style in this video. Jayden clearly has a future in show business, and while this might be his first dance video, it is not his last.

A visit to his Instagram is all the evidence you'll need this talented kid is still into dance and getting better every day.

If you are inspired by this toddler's amazing moves and talent, why not forward this story to everyone you know and encourage them to view Jayden's video as well?
