Eight-year-old Emma, and her nine-year-old brother, Josh were playing in the yard when they heard someone screaming. For a split second, they froze in fear with no idea who was yelling or where the screams were coming from.

Realizing the sound was coming from next door, the children grabbed a chair to stand on and looked over the fence.

Their neighbor was pinned beneath a Jeep in his driveway.

Josh and Emma rushed inside to get their mom, Krystal, who immediately called 911.

Krystal and the children returned to the neighbor's home and waited by his side until first responders arrived.

The authorities expected to find the man deceased after such a dangerous accident. He had been repairing his jeep when the heavy vehicle fell off the jack and pinned him to the ground.

Emergency personnel worked quickly to rescue the man from the jaws of death. He was then flown to the hospital for treatment.

Thanks to the quick thinking of Josh and Emma, their neighbor is home and expected to make a full recovery. These two kids are being called heroes. Not only were they in the right place at the right time, they immediately took life-saving action.
