Twin Sisters Who Were Notoriously ‘Cut In Half’ In 2006 Are Currently Living As Separate Teens

Kendra Herrin and Maliyah Herrin were born on February 26, 2002. They shared a bladder, one kidney, a large intestine, and a liver. Separation was considered, but their parents, Erin and Jake, knew that separation would be extremely risky.

Kendra and Maliyah appeared in international headlines such as The Telegraph when they were separated at the age of four. They were the first set of conjoined twins to be separated while sharing a single kidney

When they went into the surgery, they didn’t have the greatest odds. However, the 26-hour-long procedure was a complete success. The twins now had to learn how to live in separate bodies.

Sisters Kendra and Maliyah are now living in Salt Lake City, Utah. The sisters are strong and confident women who have learned how to live in separate bodies. They are 17 years old. Each sister has one leg.

They are extremely happy and grateful that their parents went through with the separation surgery. They have their own YouTube channel and spend their time filming. They share their story through their videos. Fans love their self-confidence and how they show their individual personalities.
